Car and Taxi

​Aberdeen can be reached from the north or the south by the A90, which runs from Fraserburgh to Edinburgh, and passes through the heart of Aberdeen City. The A96 connects Aberdeen to Inverness.

Visitors will be guided by signs to the city centre, where there is a good supply of pay-and-display parking.

There are 4 night-time taxi ranks situated at various points throughout the city centre;

  • Union Street at St Nicholas Kirkyard
  • Union Street at Bon Accord Street
  • Union Street at Castle Gate
  • Union Street at Summer Street

Bus and Train

​For timetables and fares please visit; First Group or Stagecoach. There are also plenty of park and ride services, Ellon (north of the city), Bridge of Don (north of the city), Woodhill House (on Westburn Road in the west of the city. Weekends only), and Kingswells (west of the city).

Our train station is situated right next to Union Square shopping centre in the heart of the city centre; plan your journey at Traveline Scotland.
