Christmas in Aberdeen

Aberdeen’s city centre will once again sparkle with festive magic this winter, as Christmas in Aberdeen 2025 brings a season full of joy, celebration, and community spirit.

From Thursday 13 November to Wednesday 31 December 2025, Aberdeen city centre will sparkle as Christmas in Aberdeen returns with festive fun for all ages.

The Aberdeen Christmas Village on Broad Street brings rides, an open-air ice rink, and delicious festive food from local favourites including Big Manny’s Pizza, Tucan, Hot Chip, and We Love Crumble.

Each weekend from Friday 14 November to Sunday 21 December, the Curated in the Square Christmas Market at Marischal Square will showcase local makers, artists, and food producers, organised by Charlie House in support of their vital work across the north-east.

Festivities continue with the Christmas Lights Parade and Santa Run on Sunday 16 November, the Nativity Scene at Union Terrace Gardens from 1 December to 4 January, and Carol Concerts in the Winter Gardens on Saturday 13 December.

Presented by Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen Inspired, Codona’s, and Charlie House, this year’s celebrations promise to bring festive sparkle and community spirit to the Granite City.
