Tall Ships Aberdeen 2025 took place from 19–22 July 2025 and delivered significant economic, cultural and social benefits for Aberdeen. Delivered by Aberdeen Inspired in partnership with Aberdeen City Council, Port of Aberdeen, and Sail Training International, the event attracted large visitor numbers to the city, increasing footfall across the city centre and providing a major boost to local businesses, hospitality and tourism.
The four-day festival strengthened Aberdeen’s profile as a destination for major international events, celebrated the city’s maritime heritage, and created opportunities for community engagement, volunteering and cultural participation. Tall Ships Aberdeen 2025 also demonstrated strong partnership working across the public, private and third sectors, leaving a positive and lasting legacy for the city.
