We Too!

We Too! is a charity dedicated to supporting families of children with additional support needs in Aberdeen City and Shire. It publishes a free quarterly magazine offering consistent information, activity ideas, and a platform for families to connect and share experiences. The organisation also hosts inclusive "Relaxed Sessions" and community events in partnership with local groups, ensuring accessible participation for all. Through training and advocacy, We Too! works to build a more inclusive community.

Umbrella A Cappella 

Umbrella A Cappella is a community singing group for adults aged 16+. The choir prides itself on being a neuro-inclusive and accessible singing group that has an “everyone can sing ethos”. The group spreads joy through the power of music and provides people with the opportunity to form new social connections and in turn contributes to bringing people out of social isolation and promoting positive mental wellbeing among the community in Aberdeen.

City Moves Dance Agency

Citymoves Dance Agency is committed to sharing the joy of dance with the public through their regular classes public performances in Aberdeen throughout the year. A registered charity, they run multiple performance groups, including Step Forward, their integrated performance company for people with and without learning disabilities and Horizons Aberdeen their free inclusive youth dance company for dancers aged 12 -19, with and without disabilities.

Music 4 U

Music 4 U changes the lives of young people and their families through inclusive performing arts classes, enabling them to explore a tailored learning experience in a supportive, uplifting and inspiring environment.

Welcoming participants from all backgrounds including those with support needs, Music 4 U students lead enriched lives, with increased employability, empathy, and quality of life.

Music 4 U runs weekly classes at its base at Waterloo Quay in addition to a variety of fundraisers and performances throughout the year.

SensationALL

SensationALL provides practical support and services for individuals of ALL ages with additional needs as a result of their complex or neurodivergent conditions. No formal diagnosis is required to access their services.

Based in Westhill Aberdeenshire, but operating from various locations across the northeast, they run a timetable of play sessions and social activities that are tailored to the sensory and behavioural needs of attendees.

Parent/carers can access on-demand advisory consultations for specific advice and attend regular support groups to meet and socialise with others in similar situations. In addition, SensationALL delivers a range of training events on a variety of topics related to neurodiversity and inclusion.
