We’re delighted to shine the spotlight on Jamie, the creator behind AberK9Treats, who is bringing natural, handcrafted dog treats to Curated in the Square.
Jamie’s journey began two years ago when he launched his own dog-walking business. Having previously managed a pet department in a local store, he’d gained extensive knowledge in pet nutrition through courses with well-known brands. But he wanted to do more and not just for his own dog, Loki, but for the many pups he cared for every day.
That passion sparked the beginning of AberK9Treats. Determined to give Loki the healthiest lifestyle possible, Jamie transitioned him to a fully natural diet – raw meals and natural treats designed to keep him thriving. He began using natural treats during his walks as a healthy training alternative and soon found himself sharing the benefits of natural over processed treats with his clients.
Providing wholesome, nutritious treats for his customers and their dogs quickly became something that brought Jamie real joy and AberK9Treats has been growing ever since.
You can find Jamie and AberK9Treats at Curated in the Square this weekend (November 28 - 30) and again during Weekend 6 (December 19–21). It’s the perfect opportunity to shop local, meet the maker behind the brand, and bring home something special for your four-legged family members.
