This festive season, Friends of ANCHOR is bringing a Tribute Tree to the Aberdeen Christmas Village. For many of us, Christmas can so often heighten the memory and loss of loved ones.

The charity hopes the Tribute Tree will serve as a beacon of love and remembrance for people in the North-east during this time. On display will be beautiful red anchor decorations, lovingly made by local company Ceramika, hand scribed with loved ones’ names on them. If you would like to join Friends of ANCHOR in remembering someone special this Christmas, while supporting a cause close to your heart, you can email the charity on to place your order.

For a £10 donation, your personal inscription will be arranged with the name of your loved one, with your anchor hung on the Tribute Tree in Marischal College through the festive period. Alternatively, you can choose to have your tribute anchor posted directly to you, so you can hang it on your tree at home this Christmas. You can also place your order for personalised anchor decoration in person at Week 3 of Christmas in the Quad market (5th - 8th December) in Marischal College Quadrangle, where Friends of ANCHOR will have a stall.
