Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCOS) with a spectacular performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana at Music Hall.
Performed by 110 of Scotland's finest young singers, this landmark concert revisits the iconic work that marked the beginning of NYCOS three decades ago. Featuring the unforgettable O Fortuna, Carmina Burana is one of the world's most celebrated choral masterpieces, renowned for its powerful rhythms, dramatic storytelling and soaring music.
The programme also includes the world premiere of The World by Jay Capperauld, alongside Jonathan Dove's The Passing of the Year. Accompanied by two pianos and percussion, the choir will be conducted by Christopher Bell, Founder and Artistic Director of NYCOS.
