Young performers from Aberdeen Grammar School are taking centre stage as part of The Next Stage, an exciting new project from the National Theatre of Scotland.
This innovative initiative gives young people the opportunity to create and perform their own original work on the set of a professional theatre production.
For its first edition, S3 pupils from Aberdeen Grammar School have been exploring themes from The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, working together to develop creative performances that will be shared with an invited audience at His Majesty’s Theatre.
Bringing classroom learning into a professional theatre setting, the project encourages creativity, collaboration and confidence while offering pupils a unique insight into the world of theatre.
The Next Stage is delivered by the National Theatre of Scotland, with support from Aberdeen Performing Arts and Aberdeen Grammar School.
