Alexandra Haddow heads to Aberdeen with Deadly, a new work-in-progress comedy show tackling hypochondria, getting older and trying to keep it together when everything seems to be changing.
Alex has spent much of her life convinced she’s dying. Now her parents are getting older, the world feels increasingly uncertain and her own life is changing suddenly – all of which gives a hypochondriac plenty to worry about.
Rather than lose her mind over it, Alex is turning those anxieties into comedy. Expect a candid and darkly funny look at health worries, mortality and navigating life when your brain has a habit of imagining the worst.
