George Orwell’s iconic novel 1984 comes to His Majesty’s Theatre in a powerful new stage adaptation by Chris Hannan.
In a world where Big Brother is always watching, the Thought Police control every word and truth is dictated by the Party, Winston and Julia risk everything as their forbidden love sparks a rebellion against an oppressive regime.
Brought to the stage by Citizens Theatre, Dundee Rep Theatre and The Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, this gripping production explores themes of freedom, truth and power in a story that remains as relevant today as ever.
