One of the most indelible memories of Nuart Aberdeen 2026 was the unveiling of Robert Montgomery’s powerful installation at the iconic Bon Accord Baths.
Those lucky enough to be at this special event were beguiled by the lyrical beauty of the work – Even After All This Time The Sun Never Says To The Earth ‘You Owe Me’ – as local choirs provided a soundscape ranging from the profound to the uplifting in this unique setting.
That very special moment – and Robert’s inspiration for his stunning piece - has been captured in this final video from the Nuart Festival team, documenting this year’s outstanding event, brought to the city by Aberdeen Inspired and Aberdeen City Council.
It is a fitting coda to celebrate the emotive and transformative power of Nuart Aberdeen.
