Aberdeen Inspired chief executive Adrian Watson has welcomed the latest addition to the Trinity Centre as the perfect vote of confidence in the city centre.

The exciting new store is BPerfect, a beauty product megastore packed with skincare, makeup and tanning must-haves, which opened its doors in the Trinity Centre today (Thursday, October 9) with a special ribbon cutting by BPerfect founder Brendan McDowell, and special guest, Ekin-Su from Love Island.

As a huge crowd of thrilled shoppers thronged to the opening after queuing for hours, Adrian Watson said it would be a welcome addition to the city’s retail sector.

“This is BPerfect’s third Scottish store, adding to the 14 they have across the UK and Ireland, and it is a huge vote of confidence that this hugely-popular brand has chosen the Trinity Centre, sitting right on Union Street, as its latest outlet,” said Adrian.

“There is no doubt this choice is a result of the Trinity Centre’s constant drive to attract new retailers and play their vital role in regenerating the city centre. It really is just a perfect move for the centre and for the heart of Aberdeen.”

Kenny Bruce, Centre Manager for Trinity Aberdeen, also welcomed the arrival of the new beauty offer.

He said: “It’s fantastic to bring BPerfect to the Trinity Centre—a brand that further enhances the centre’s retail offering, supporting our commitment to bring new brands to Aberdeen.

“Earlier in the year, we saw Lovisa open at the centre and they have traded beyond all expectations. Brands are seeing the benefits of the growth at the centre and are investing in their stores to enhance their offer with us as well,”

Brendan McDowell, Founder of BPerfect, said: “Aberdeen has been on our radar for some time as a location for a store and the Trinity Centre is the perfect location, right in the heart of the city and with a complimentary tenant mix for us to open a new store.”

Susanne Morris of Johnstone Property Consultants commented: “This new addition to the Trinity Centre reflects the strategy we have been working on with the landlord to revitalise the tenant mix to better suit the fantastic location of the scheme within Aberdeen.”
