Dons legends Willie Miller and Alex McLeish are launching a new podcast – and fans can be in the audience in Aberdeen for the first two live episodes next week.
Miller and McLeish – The Official Podcast will see one of football’s greatest-ever double acts reunite for a series that promises unforgettable stories, sharp football insight and exclusive live events.
During Aberdeen FC’s glittering successes of the 1980s, when the Dons conquered Europe and rose to the very top of the world game, Miller and McLeish were the rock-solid foundation on which those glory years were built.
Between them, they won just about every major honour in club football, captained club and country, and earned 142 Scotland caps.
In their new podcast, hosted by broadcaster Rob Maclean and produced by Aberdeen-based B4Films, the series, which has Aberdeen FC Community Trust as a charity partner, will take fans behind the scenes of one of the most remarkable periods in Scottish football history.
The series will include incredible untold stories from the legendary Aberdeen dressing room, reflections on the characters and moments that defined an era, honest opinions on today’s game, including referees, VAR and the modern Dons, plus special guests and surprise appearances throughout the series.
And fans will have the rare opportunity to witness two special and exclusive live recordings as Willie and Alex record the very first episodes of the series in front of an audience in Aberdeen.
The live sessions will be held on Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27, at 6.30pm in Aura, Aberdeen.
Tickets cost from £25 and are on sale now. VIP Tickets (£50) are available and will include a meet & greet, welcome drink and priority seating.
