Can you tell us more about you and why you set up the company?
Raw Culture was set up by Ash Keenon and I, former colleagues in the oil and gas industry. The idea was to have a small side business and attend the occasional farmers market for some extra pocket money. Thanks to the Covid pandemic and the furlough scheme I was able to focus on Raw Culture full time to develop the brand and products.
Can you tell us about the products you are selling at the Christmas Market?
We produce a range of Hop Infused Kombucha, a sparkling tea-based soft drink which is naturally fermented, making our kombucha low in sugar with just 39 calories per can and rich source of B-vitamin’s and antioxidants. Our unique process ensures your kombucha to be gluten-free and suitable for vegans.
Why did you decide to take part in this year’s Christmas Market?
Last year's Curated in the Quad market was a real success for us, so we knew we had to come back this year. There is such a great selection of stalls which change around every week that attracts so many visitors to the market.
What are you looking forward to at the Christmas Market?
The diverse range of
people who visit the market of all nationalities, it's great being out there and
having the opportunity to speak to them and introduce them to the best Kombucha
in the UK. It's also great meeting up with so many old friends on the other
stalls, there’s a real community spirit and we all have good fun helping each
