Two of the biggest things happening in Aberdeen are the building of the exciting new Flint market and the arrival of the World Rally Championships – and Aberdeen Inspired levy-payers are urged to grab their chance to hear an update on both.
Our Business Improvement District meeting on October 27 will feature Allan Henderson, CEO of The McGinty’s Group, who outline progress on Flint, now taking shape on Union Street and The Green, ready to welcome vendors in 11 food hall units and nine retail spaces.
Also, a representative from the World Rally Championship will give an update about the Rally Scotland stage in Aberdeen after the dates for this thrilling event were confirmed as from September 28 to October 3, next year.
Meanwhile, Aberdeen Inspired chairman chief executive Adrian Watson will outline the BID’s business plan for 2026 to 2031, including our key strategies and objectives.
Senior council officials will give updates on the progress of works on Union Street Central and the Castlegate.
Our Union Street operations director David McKeith will also discuss the Our Aberdeen app.
This BID meeting is a fantastic chance for our levy payers to get up to speed on some exciting developments, ask questions, and air their views.
It also offers levy payers a perfect opportunity to network and make new connections – and have a spot of breakfast.
With only a few spaces left, be sure to secure your spot at this important meeting on October 27, from 9am to 11am, in the Copthorne Hotel, our official sponsors for the meeting.
The BID meeting is free for levy-payers and costs £10 for non-levy payers.
