"EL DESAYUNO"
El desayuno or ‘breakfast’ is Mohamed’s latest mural created in Aberdeen.
For his Aberdeen wall, Mohamed depicts a family around a dinner table having a "family moment" which is universal and familiar the world over.
“This is not a self-portrait or my story – I paint a story for all the people.” said Mohamed.
To make the mural fit the Aberdeen space, Mohamed was inspired by nearby objects at his mural site and their colours. For example, he chose blue as a background colour because of a close-by sign.
“I try to always make the murals integrated in the public space,” said Mohamed.
