This mural by Hush was painted over 7 days and used projection to paint up the rough design before filling in the colours and design. Includes a tribute to the Vlad, who operated the lift. Hush is funny in that he's a Geordie with a thick accent and doesn't look who you'd expect for an artist who creates such amazing work.
Hush is stimulated, influenced and driven by his cross-cultural experiences. The artist aims to combine street art with more traditional art practices; fusing traditional Eastern art with Western traditions of action painting and graffiti. Multiple layers of tagging and graffiti transition from the street to the studio and back again forming a deeper, richer exploration of colour, shape, form and ultimately, culture.
