The £3.2 million City Centre Masterplan project -- funded by the Aberdeen City Council, Marischal Square developer Muse, and Sustrans Scotland -- includes an illuminated fountain, trees and benches, improved lighting, and a raised grass area offering flexible event space in front of Marischal College.

Statutory consultees such as emergency services and bus companies, and feedback from the Disability Equity Partnership, are also being asked for comment.

The results will be included in a committee report to councillors.

The pedestrian-orientated space can only be used time-tabled buses and cyclists, having previously been open to all traffic. CCMP spokesperson Councillor Marie Boulton said: “We’d encourage everyone to take part in the survey so we can gather as many views as possible.”
