With more than 45 local Etsy sellers and products ranging from textiles and jewellery to illustration and homewares, the Aberdeen Etsy Made Local Market will give the people of Aberdeen a chance to discover some of the best of the city’s creative community, allowing them to connect with and buy directly from local makers and designers.

Twelve unique and striking totem pole sculptures have been placed across the city centre – can you find them all and solve the Christmas puzzle? Created by local chainsaw carver, Garry Shand, the carvings depict the popular carol, The Twelve Days of Christmas.

Running since 2013, the event features unique design led handmade products by local producers, as well as some from farther afield. This friendly and relaxed market showcases an eclectic mix of artists and makers, and many that you won’t find anywhere else.

Three top-class musical acts will be the focal point of Aberdeen’s Hogmanay celebrations, closing the city’s festivities in style. Performing live on stage at Schoolhill from 9pm, the musicians will entertain the crowds on 31 December before a stunning fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. Why not end your celebration with a visit to the Aberdeen Christmas Village which closes at 2am!
