Aberdeen Inspired has urged city centre restaurants to sign up to the second edition of a popular festival which promises to boost customer numbers and showcase the best cuisine in the Granite City.
Aberdeen Restaurant Week will return from Monday, 3 September 2018, to Sunday, 9 September.
It will see participating restaurants create a unique menu for the event with a simple pricing structure, a two-course lunch will be priced at £10 per person and a three-course dinner will cost £20 per person.
The initiative, which was first launched in February by Aberdeen Inspired, was a success and created the opportunity for visitors and residents to support city centre restaurants during what is traditionally a quiet period during the year.
Paul Mair, Owner of Café Bohème said : “We were fully booked after announcing we were part of February’s ARW so we are excited to be involved again in September! The event is a great celebration of Aberdeen’s food and drink industry and helps to showcase your business and attract new customers.”
Café Bohème recently came second in the North East of Scotland restaurant of the year category at the hospitality training awards.
Nicola Johnston, evening and night time economy manager said: “Aberdeen’s restaurant offering is incredibly diverse, it boasts some of the country’s best chefs, as well as award-winning bars and eateries.”
“The extremely successful Aberdeen Restaurant Week is there to shine a spotlight on these businesses, to help promote and offer an incentive for residents and tourists to explore restaurants they may have never visited before.”
“We would encourage restaurateurs to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, we received excellent feedback earlier this year from businesses involved and customers alike.”

Aberdeen Inspired is the banner under which the Aberdeen Business Improvement District (BID) operates. It is a business-led initiative within the city centre in which levy payers within the BID zone contribute.
Proceeds are used to fund projects designed to improve the business district. Due to its on-going success, the organisation won 2017 European BID of the Year in July.
