Tell us your firm’s plans to power up for Offshore Europe
All of Aberdeen is gearing up to welcome some 20,000 visitors from around the world flocking to the special 50th anniversary Offshore Europe next month – and city centre businesses are being urged to make the most of this fantastic opportunity.
Visit Aberdeenshire’s visitor welcome volunteers – co-sponsored by Aberdeen Inspired – will be on hand for the event at P&J Live, using the skills they have acquired greeting cruise ship passengers to help direct OE delegates to the city centre and its main attractions and many bars and restaurants.
We are calling on any and all of our levy payers to let us if know if they are planning anything special during Offshore Europe, from Tuesday, September 5 to Friday, September 8 – whether it’s special offers or extended opening hours, or even a celebratory cocktail.
Not only will this information appear on Visit Aberdeenshire’s web page for delegates, the welcome volunteers will also be fully briefed on what you are offering and be able to point visitors your way as they take the free shuttle buses from P&J Live into the city centre.
To make sure delegates can find you easily, special OE50th window display vinyl posters will be available from Aberdeen City Council to flag up your business’s role in celebrating this special Offshore Europe.
Let us know what you special things you are doing for Offshore Europe by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
The OE50th window vinyls are available while stocks last, so bag yours by contacting SheBruce@aberdeencity.gov.uk
Details of the free shuttle bus service running between P&J Live and the city centre during Offshore Europe can be found here.
