Esker Spirits
Our very own winter wonderland, the Curated in the Quad market at Marischal College in collaboration with Charlie House, is set to create a magical atmosphere where you can pick out the perfect gifts for your family and friends from our amazing range of stallholders. Over the coming weeks, we will introduce you to a few who are selling their interesting items at this year’s market.
Today it’s the turn of Lynne Duthie, from Esker Spirits, a family run distillery based in Kincardineshire O’Neil. Esker Spirits are known for this fabulous Scottish gins and range of flavoured vodkas.
With an amazing range of products that need to be tasted to be believed, you don’t want to miss out! Esker Spirits can be found in the Curated in the Quad Market every weekend from Friday 19th November until Sunday 19th December.

Hi Lynne! Can you tell us more about Esker Spirits and why you set up the company?
We set up our company because we love spirits, and more importantly to us, the experience of distilling. We love nothing more than experimenting with different recipes and flavours – it’s probably one of the biggest perks of the job!
Can you tell us about the products you are selling at the Christmas Market?
We will be selling our whole range of gins and vodkas, and our very popular ‘Ice Cubes’, which are gift sets of four gins or four vodkas. We can certainly help find the right gift for the gin and vodka lovers in your life.
Why did you decide to take part in this year’s Christmas Market?
We have taken part in Christmas Markets in Aberdeen city centre since 2017 and we are delighted to be back in the Quad again. To be able to be in the Quad and still support the amazing work of Charlie House is such a bonus for us.
What are you looking forward to?
We are looking forward to spreading the Christmas spirit and being a part of such a happy, festive event. It might not be as warm as the indoor market, but we can definitely help with spreading the Christmas atmosphere!
